Meet Kirby VanBurch

Meet Kirby VanBurch

Kirby VanBurch fondly recalls, "I discovered magic as a child, a time when you still don't know your own limitations... I've never let go of that."

Young VanBurch migrated to Las Vegas quickly becoming the youngest star in the famous down town "GLITTER GULCH." He created the production "World of Magic", and became the featured performer in the Thirty Million Dollar Spectacular, "Jubilee".

VanBurch drew national attention with a dazzling, death-defying stunt that won him a spot in the "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" museum.

International acclaim soon followed and VanBurch was invited to appear through out Europe and Asia. After three royal command performances for the King of Thailand, VanBurch received a personal invitation from the Royal Palace. It was there that the princess of Thailand bestowed the Royal title "Prince of Magic" upon Kirby VanBurch.

In 1992, VanBurch signed to appear at the multimillion dollar five star theatre (now renamed the Remington theatre) in Branson, Missouri. In 1993, Branson awarded the Prince Of Magic with AAMA's most prestigious award, Branson's show of the year.

Kirby is known for his signature illusion, the appearance of a bell 35 jet ranger helicopter in less than 4 seconds. This is the world's largest and fastest illusion.

Introducing Bambi VanBurch

Introducing Bambi VanBurch

It was at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL where Bambi was obtaining her BS in Social Work that a casual walk ended up changing her life forever. Walking to class one fine spring day, she passed a well-attended local dance studio. Signing up for a ballet class on impulse, she was hoping for a distraction from all of her more serious studies. What she found was the art of dance at a college level fanned a flame that still flickered deep inside from childhood days of dance classes.

After graduation, a chance trip to Branson to visit her newly relocated parents brought her to the stage of one of Branson's premiere shows. Auditioning for The Kirby VanBurch Show's dance captain, she became the newest member of his show in 2001.

Married in Key West in September of 2002, Bambi VanBurch is now at home on stage, using the God given talents she has honed - the love of people, dance and Kirby!

Kirby VanBurch has commented, "My wife is truly amazing. A magic show isn't easy to produce, and the world's largest magic show comes with the world's largest challenges - lighting, choreography, overall staging, and my wife's talent and instincts are right-on."
